Programming update for R&W

October book: Lincoln in the Bardo reading schedule

Hello R&W listeners (and readers);

I wanted to update you on the next book Rhea and I will be deep reading: Lincoln in the Bardo, by George Saunders. It’s strange and confusing, a little dark and disturbing, and deeply profound in every way. It’s a great story to read not alone.

I do hope you’ll join us as we “tarry” with Mr. Lincoln in the bardo.

Our reading schedule will be:

• Oct 8th: pp 1-88

• Oct 15th: pp 89-176

• Oct 22nd: pp 177-262

• Oct 29th: pp 263-end

Our books to fill out the rest of 2024 are:

• November: Persuasion, by Jane Austen

• December: A Christmas Carol, by Charles Dickens

Finally, on our Dec 24th, Christmas Eve episode, Rhea and I will decide on our 2025 reading list: The Big Draw episode. I can’t wait.
